I am a studio potter based in London, making wheel-thrown and hand decorated porcelain pots.

The inspiration for my shapes stems predominantly from objects that filled the family home in Germany, where I grew up. My decorations are based on automatic drawings which hold a mixture of different influences that come to the fore during time spent with my sketchbook.

My work is an amalgamation of experiences, items, fascinations and thoughts that are stored in my memory bank and therefore intrinsically linked to my journey as a maker.

I studied at Clay College, Stoke-on-Trent and am a Selected Member of the Craft Potters Association.
